    The Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) and its Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) represent a large NIH infrastructure grant to support clinical and translational research at the University at Buffalo (UB) and the Buffalo Translational Consortium (BTC) partner institutions under the leadership of the Director of the CTSI.

    The Community Engagement Specialist is a full-time professional position who will:


    • Lead the development and implementation of program deliverables.

    • Consult with researchers and community partners with an emphasis on developing community-based recruitment strategies

    • Management of the Buffalo Research Registry. Th

    • Develop innovative community education and outreach initiatives, culturally-informed approaches to engage community members to participate in and guide research

    • Create creative community-based recruitment and retention strategies.



    This position will report directly to the Core Director and will work collaboratively with other CTSI cores, institutional partners, and community partners.
