Coordinator of Fraternity & Sorority Life
$19.87 per hour or higher commensurate with experience
The Coordinator will report to the Assistant Dean of Students, Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life within the Dean of Students reporting area at the University of Idaho and will provide assistance to the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life by fostering a collaborative work environment and by advancing strategic priorities for fraternity and sorority life at the University of Idaho.
Experience as a Chapter Consultant OR intern for fraternity and sorority life; advising, or professional experience in Greek Life.
Bachelors degree in education, psychology, or a related field.
Membership in a Greek Letter Organization.
Knowledge of fraternity and sorority best practice and governing structures.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.
Knowledge of student development theory and philosophy.
Ability to work well with students of diverse backgrounds and with faculty, staff, and alumni.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and program solving.
Knowledge of organizational leadership and management.
Currently enrolled in, accepted to, or in completion of a graduate program in College Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, Student Services, Educational Leadership, Counseling, Adult Organizational Learning and Leadership or related field.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and independently plan, organize, coordinate and perform work in various situations where competing priorities exist.
