Research Technician I position is open in the
Tatsuaki KurosakiLab at the
Biotechnical and Clinical Laboratory Sciences at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in science and prefer to have expertise in molecular or cellular biology to study one of a number of very exciting and ongoing projects, including but not limited to the RNA metabolism in human diseases, characterizing newly defined effectors of nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD), or the mechanistic coupling of RNA processing and turnover on spinocerebellar ataxia type 10 (SCA10) and beyond.
A background in neuroscience and/or stem-cell biology would facilitate the work on NMD
