The University at Buffalo Athletics department is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our team for a full-time, 10-month position as a Staff Assistant for Athletics’ Business Office. As part of our team, you will provide high quality and timely assistance to Administration, Coaches and Staff which will include a variety of business operations and human resources processes.
Our ideal candidate has a wide range of applicable skills such as, effective interpersonal skills, proficient with Microsoft office and a strong attention to detail. In this role, you will need time management skills to be efficient at handling multiple tasks, possess basic knowledge of internal business operations and human resources along with an understanding of New York State and NCAA rules and regulations.
Assist Assistant Athletic Director of Human Resources with completion of employment paperwork and payments for staff.
Assist Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations with NCAA Financial audit of the Intercollegiate Athletics Program.
Review all invoices and complete appropriate actions. Troubleshooting for outstanding invoices and statements that will impact the Athletic Department’s budget.
Review the transactions of US Bank cards for Athletics programs. Follow-up with staff for outstanding items.
Coordinate data entry of payments, purchases, and payroll.
