Senior Research Support Specialist implements study protocols for a large observational study with children examining motivation to eat and motivation to play as risk and protective factors for weight gain. Uses innovative skills in recruiting, screening, scheduling, and assessing research participants. This includes materials development and preparation, conducting interviews, administering measures, following research protocols, data collection, coding and entry. This project involves family home visits. Attends research meetings, and conducts literary searches. Photocopying, collating and filing.
BA or BS degree in Psychology, Marketing/Advertising, Nutrition, Exercise Science or health related field. Computer literate within Windows environment. Transportation required.
One or two years in a research environment. Good marketing, communication, organization and time management skills. Able to use innovative marketing skills to recruit multiple populations of children and adults.
