Provides script writing, video editing and film production assistance for a variety of communications including web series, internal news announcements, features, and program promotions. Working with colleagues across the college, the Video Specialist I, is responsible for assisting the SA communication Video Specialist in sourcing ideas and writing content that exemplify the college's priorities and culture.
· Archive, maintain and edit video footage and photos.
· Assist senior staff with video production and editing.
· Add special effects and graphics to footage.
· Serve as production assistant and/or camera operator at various events.
· Assisting SA Communication Video Specialist with duties, as needed
· Maintaining an established work schedule.
· Filming and photographing events and stories for use on Student Affairs Communication social media handles and communication pieces
· Flexible and creative; able to handle changing priorities.
· Proactive, service oriented attitude.
· Attention to detail.
· Excellent Communication, editing and presentation building skills.
· Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
· Proficiency using standard Microsoft Office software applications
· Experience with video production workflow.
· Image and document formats and scanning techniques.
