The department of neurosurgery in the Jacobs School is actively recruiting for a laboratory technician. This individual will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) in the genomics of cerebrovascular disease. Job duties include:
data collection and entry
assist the PI in report writing and graphical presentation of research
manage laboratory samples
run sequencing samples
The individual will also be expected to work in a clinical setting with patient samples.Outstanding Benefits Package

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree
At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting
Microsoft Office proficiency
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Laboratory skills including qPCR, western blots, and cell cultures.
Strong interest in neuroscience.
