    JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
    The ECE Department is starting a one-year project for NSF to develop a framework around the open source project Chipwhisperer
    (https://github.com/newaetech/chipwhisperer), a hardware security testing environment.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Research Associate will support development of the framework. The following features are desired for the framework.
    - A website to share documentation which include PDF documents as well as APIs.
    - A repository to organize and share software artifacts, hardware design data, and design examples.
    - A virtual collaboration space, such an online forum, to support new users and contributors.

    Required Qualifications: Minimum a BS degree with software development experience and a skillset matching the following requirements.
    - System administration of a webserver.
    - Maintain an online calendar with scheduled events.
    - Maintain a user email list.
    - Online documentation generation (markdown, readthedocs, SPHINX).
    - PDF document management, classification, indexing around 500 publications.
    - Set up an online forum (eg discourse).
    - Maintain a code base under github.
    - enable collaborative document development (github).

    Experience with side-channel analysis and ChipWhisperer is considered a plus.
