    The Research Foundation for the State University of New York at Buffalo seeks to hire an Academic Specialist within the department of Student Support Services (SSS). The Academic Specialist is responsible for providing and designing the delivery of many forms of advisement to students such as informational advisement, proactive advisement, appreciative advisement, and academic coaching services. The hours for this position are typically 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday, however, the Academic Specialist occasionally must be available to assist SSS program staff in accompanying students during off campus visits and may require some evening and/or weekend hours. This position reports to the Director of Student Support Services.
