  • Senior Research Support Specialist

    The Division of Behavioral Medicine conducts laboratory, field, and clinical studies to examine factors that may lead to the development of obesity. The Sr. Research Support Specialist will work in the Child Health and Behavior Lab under the direction of Dr. Stephanie Anzman-Frasca, assisting with laboratory- and community-based obesity-related research. This will include work on various aspects of ongoing studies, including our Restaurant Study, which will involve conducting research within a restaurant in the Buffalo area and will involve some evening and weekend hours and a reliable source of transportation is required.

    The Sr. Research Support Specialist will assist with subject recruitment and retention. Conduct phone screens. Prepare Institutional Review Board protocols and other study materials (e.g., consents, questionnaires). Conduct studies (e.g., run parents/children through study procedures). Enter data in statistical analysis programs. Conduct literature searches. Attend regular research meetings. Assist in data cleaning and analysis and in preparation of manuscripts for publication. Oversee other study team members (e.g., students).
