Job Summary
The Coordinator will assess, organize and support the college-wide recruitment efforts for the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering’s Engineering Online Program with specific focus on marketing, recruitment territory, and relationship building with alumni, private industry and working professionals. The Coordinator will assist the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Faculty Development organize and support college-wide administration of the graduate program (both on-campus and online), to include organizing and support for the Graduate Program Officers in each college academic department.

Essential Functions
Coordinates with Marketing to develop and order promotional items, college viewbook, recruitment mailings, and other pieces necessary to the day-to-day functions of recruitment. Coordinates with departmental data analysts and marketing coordinator to generate and evaluate market demographic data to determine optimal market strategy to grow graduate enrollment by a target rate of 5% yearly. Organize and conduct current and prospective student focus groups.

Promotes a positive image of the College while meeting with prospective students and applicable organizations regarding engineering education opportunities. Plans, promotes, organizes, and conducts in-person and virtual campus visits and tours, as well as recruitment events.

Assists with developing, implementing and evaluating the recruitment process with the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Graduate Program staff to apply continuous improvement strategies.

Collaborates with graduate student advisors in each academic program to evaluate and improve program offerings; works with academic departments to optimize offerings and provide feedback from prospective students and employers.

Establishes critical initial rapport with prospective students by replying to all inquiries within 48 hours on weekdays, with a personalized message. Provides follow-up engagement as often and frequently as needed to move the prospective student to applicant status, then to admitted status. Prepares acceptance packages for accepted students.

Coordinates with Graduate School on all admission standards and issues for prospective students. Follows status of admission decision by Graduate School and keeps prospective student informed.
