Ready to take the wheel and drive your career forward?  Parking and Transportation Services is looking for a responsible Bus Driver to join our team! You’ll operate full-sized passenger buses and shuttles, ensuring passenger safety while supporting our South Campus and Downtown Campus operations. Let’s move forward together!

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Safely operate a full-sized passenger bus and UB owned shuttles, on and off state property, following Vehicle and Traffic Laws.
  • Handle various road conditions while ensuring the safety of passengers.
  • Perform routine bus maintenance, including cleaning, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and basic repairs.
  • Navigate South Campus and Downtown Campus transit routes, events, map itineraries, and assess pick-up/drop-off points as needed.
  • Maintain trip records, passenger counts, mileage, and fuel purchases.
  • Use communication equipment to monitor road, weather, and traffic conditions while coordinating with supervisors and drivers.
  • Provide friendly, helpful customer service to the campus community.

This position is defined as safety-sensitive, and as such, is subject pre employment and random alcohol and drug testing under the Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991.
