Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), the country’s preeminent art and design school, located in historic Providence, RI, is seeking an Assistant Director, Programming & Student Organization Leadership to join its Center for Student Involvement. The Center for Student Involvement (CSI) creates opportunities that support and challenge students to think critically, act globally, and nurture community through campus activities, leadership development, experiential & service learning, and much more.

Identify, design, recommend, and implement, as approved, structures and support for student organization leadership development. Actively engage with staff, faculty, and students to support, plan, and implement large scale, campus-wide programming for the Center for Student Involvement.
Responsible for the implementation of CSI’s student organization leadership training program, with support and guidance from the Associate Director. Support the daily needs and development of student organizations in the management of event planning by liaising and coordinating with on and off campus partners to ensure the successful execution of these events. Identify student organization needs and interests and connect these with the appropriate staff, faculty, and community partners in order to further nurture and develop skills and growth.
