The principal activities of the Physics & Astronomy Department are research and education, at both the undergraduate and graduate level. The department strives both to contribute to the growing understanding of the physical universe, and to educate students in both the content of physics and its methods and principles.
What You'll Do
This is a grant funded, limited term position with an end date of September 30, 2022.
The Project Technician will provide technician support to the ATLAS project through Tufts University based at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. The Project Technician will assist with the ATLAS Muon Endcap alignment system installation and calibration at CERN as well as provide support and work with Postdoctoral Scholars on project.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge and experience typically acquired by a Bachelor’s degree in related field and research experience
