Kean’s Bridge to Success Program
Bridge to Success Program Coordinator
Under the supervision of the Director of the Bridge to Success Program, the Bridge to Success Program Coordinator (Professional Services Specialist 4) is responsible for providing support to students in the Bridge to Success Program and for assisting with the coordination of all Program initiatives and programs. The Coordinator performs professional work using established policies, procedures, precedents, and guidelines; coordinates the Bridge to Success Pre-freshman Summer Academy/pre-freshman course schedule; supervises the work of student assistants and maintains attendance; and does other related work as required. This position requires travel and flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree and one year of professional experience providing support services to students in education or higher education is required. Experience in counseling, academic advisement, financial aid, career development, residence life and/or enrollment services in higher education is preferred. A Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for the one year of required experience. Candidate must be student-centered with excellent customer service skills; have the ability to use Microsoft Office programs, Google, computer databases and technologies such as web-based services and social media; and have the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multiethnic and multicultural environment of students, faculty and staff. Excellent organizational skills, written and oral communication skills are essential.
