Overview
Reporting to the Program Manager and under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Education of the Physician Assistant Program this is a part-time (0.5FTE) position in which the individual will be responsible for providing administrative support for the Director of Clinical Education and Clinical Coordinator as students attend multiple hospitals, clinics, and private medical practices affiliated with the Program. This position will be hybrid with 4-5 days/month on campus. This is a half-time (0.5 FTE) position. Telecommuting acceptable but will require several monthly on-site meetings and events.
What You'll Do
The individual must be able to perform routine computer tasks including managing fluid student schedules and varied institutional requirements for students. The applicant must be task oriented, able to meet deadlines, possess good communication skills (verbal and electronic mailing), ability to learn and utilize multiple computer-based systems used for rotation scheduling (OASIS), exam delivery (ExamDriver and ExamSoft). Experience with or ability to be trained on WordPress, Qualtrics and Tableau.
You will be trained to:
• Communicate and troubleshoot with clinical sites to ensure students have access to electronic medical records (Tufts Medicine computer access and EPIC and any additional institutions moving forward)
• Be responsible for assigning end of rotation exams and proctoring in ExamDriver and ExamSoft
• Maintain electronic student clinical folders in BOX
• Assist the Clinical Coordinator with scheduling and administrative support for Callback Days (when clinical year students return for on-campus exams, special lectures, and simulation exercises) which may include in person support as needed
• Assist the Director of Clinical Education and Clinical Coordinator with the upkeep of the Clinical Website in Wordpress
• Audit and track preceptor license and board certification
• Attend and take minutes/notes during in-person clinical team meetings
• Troubleshoot the new Veteran Administration’s student onboarding system
• Provide additional administrative support for projects and events to the Director of Clinical Education and Program Manager as requested
What We're Looking For
Basic Requirements:
- A High School Degree and 4+ years of administrative service or a Bachelor Degree and 1+ years of administrative service
- Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, OASIS)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Internet access when working from home
- Ability to participate in faculty & staff meetings on-site on a monthly basis

- Responsible for assigning end of rotation exams and proctoring in ExamDriver and ExamSoft
Pay Range
Minimum $25.80, Midpoint $30.95, Maximum $36.10
Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
