Position Summary

Join our team of caring medical providers! Student Health Services at the University at Buffalo is recruiting a full-time, year-round Nurse Practitioner.

The Nurse Practitioner will provide our diverse student population with inclusive, patient-centered medical care in an environment that values differences, where people can and want to do their best.

The duties include:
    • Evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness
    • Thorough documentation of all patient encounters
    • Interpretation of diagnostic test results and effective communication with patients regarding diagnosis, results, and treatment plans

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing with specialty in adult primary care, family medicine, or women’s health with ANCC or NCC certification or eligibility for certification.
  • At least one year of experience providing patient care as a Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient setting.
  • License to practice in New York State.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a college/university health care setting is preferred.
