What You'll Do

This is a two-year limited term appointment.

Under close supervision, the Associate Application Developer is the primary resource for configuring, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining application software. They will assist with the design of software solutions for the Tufts community applying best practices to address business needs and/or advance the academic and administrative mission. This position will be responsible for understanding client needs and requirements, translating into functional requirements and developing those requirements in accordance with coding standards and change control procedures to achieve the clients’ operational goals.

 

Occasional night and weekend work is required during various projects, such as major product launches. Must be willing and able to participate in a 24x7x365 on call rotation.

 

This job involves responsibilities that are performed in a remote working environment.

What We're Looking For

Basic Requirements

 

• Skills and experience typically acquired through a bachelor’s degree and at least 1-3 years of experience in configuring, designing and development of applications
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Results oriented; strong verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented; strong problem solving, writing, and planning skills; self-starter and ability to work efficiently and effectively in both team and independent setting
