The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Clinical and Research Institute on Addictions, is seeking a highly motivated Project Aide to work in laboratory of Dr. Peter Thanos helping to study ways of fighting addictions with a focus on drug abuse, alcoholism and obesity.
Specific duties of the Project Aide include working with rodents, assistance with general laboratory organization, maintenance and cleaning to keep a safe working research environment. The candidate may also help with making solutions and other routine research related activities as deemed necessary. The candidate should have excellent communications skills while working under the direction of senior research personnel.
