The Program Analyst position responsibilities will include coordination with the Principal Investigator (PI) and the Project Manager (PM) on an evaluation project funded by the Alabama Dept. of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention (ADCANP). The project documents the outreach and program effectiveness of multiple programs in Alabama (e.g., fatherhood, parenting, respite care, and youth programs) funded by ADCANP. The Program Analyst is the primary organizer and point of contact for data collection, data management, analyses, and preparation of stakeholder reports and dissemination through web-based, community-based, and academic outlets. The Program Analyst is also engaged with the evaluation team in research design refinement and in quality control of data collection and management procedures.
This position involves a number of distinct responsibilities that include 1) daily and on site liaison with program deliverers around the state to ensure fidelity to data collection procedures and policies, 2) training and technical assistance to ADCANP grantee agencies and individual data collection staff, 3) work to develop, compile, and maintain large datasets; 4) assessment and refinement of surveys in collaboration with PI/PM; 5) analysis of data and preparation of written reports for funder in collaboration with the PI/PM; 6) preparation and delivery of presentations to stakeholder, practitioner, and academic audiences; 7) creation and maintenance of project website presence and assistance with web-based evaluation results dissemination; 8) organizational duties in relation to database oversight and record-keeping; and 9) direct supervision in collaboration with PI of undergraduate and graduate student work on the evaluation project.
