Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Arizona invites applications for Full-Time Head Baseball Coach.   


  •  Responsible for developing, coordinating, and directing all phases of the baseball program as it pertains to personnel and their responsibilities, budgeting, scheduling, travel, meals, scholarship allocation, recruiting, scouting, purchase and care of equipment, coaching, giving appropriate direction to student-athletes as it relates to academics, while adhering to all Cal Pac, NAIA, Athletics Department, and University rules and regulations.
  •  On- the-field coaching during practice and competition
  •  Game preparation; formulating and implementation of pre- and post-season conditioning programs
  •  Hire and supervise competent assistants and assign responsibilities.
  •  Recruitment of quality scholar-athletes whose qualities align with ERAU values and academic expectations
  •  Responsible for the direct supervision of all scholar-athletes who participate in the baseball program.
  •  Oversee the selection, purchase, fitting and maintenance of team equipment, uniforms, athletic equipment, and supplies.
  •  Enforces disciplined and sportsmanlike behavior at all times
  •  Understands that they are continually on display and must exercise good judgment in projecting positive coaching behavior. Is responsible for his/her team’s conduct during practice and traveling, as well as playing. All coaches should lead by example.
  •  Maintains responsibility for the program budget and complies with institutional policies regarding purchase orders and other internal controls. Work within a budget and maintain accurate records of expenditures.
  •  Encourages desirable faculty/student relations.
  •  Attends staff development meetings, clinics and other professional activities to improve coaching performance. Keeps abreast of new developments, innovative ideas and techniques by attendance at clinics, workshops and reviewing current publications.
  •  Performs any other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or other appropriate administrators.
