Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

Oversees the collection, safeguarding and reporting of all funds received from clients in the VMTH, verifies the accuracy of daily cash receipts reported by the Accounting Clerk, and monitors client credit account balances and initiates collection actions on delinquent accounts Oversees basic budget fiscal accounts Serves as liaison with vendors and accounts payable to see that vendors are paid in a timely manner Investigates client inquiries regarding billing or credit matters and take appropriate action. Prepares financial and other operational reports Initiates end-of-month and end-of-year reports Participates in the evaluation of staff in the VMTH Serves on team that interviews staff for hiring within the VMTH   Serves on the VMTH Board Supervises the Accounting Clerk and work-study student (s) Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, or closely related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a management position. Acceptable with an Associate degree in business management or business-related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a management position. Knowledge of financial practices and procedures in a business organization Provide excellent customer service in a courteous manner Must be a team player Ability to manage multiple tasks Experience in conflict resolution and ability to manage conflicts Good oral and written communication skills Experience in Excel, Word

Salary
Commensurate with education, training and experience

Additional Position Information:
This position requires weekend and after work hours job responsibilities
