Office of Affirmative Action Programs
Lead Investigator
Under the supervision of the Director of Affirmative Action Programs, the Lead Investigator (Managing Assistant Director 3) will manage the investigation of complaints of discrimination and discrimination-based harassment in a thorough and objective manner. The Lead Investigator participates in the development and delivery of training on EEO/AA issues (employment and education) on campus; will be responsible for investigating Title IX complaints filed by students and employees; develops policies and procedures for the Office of Affirmative Action Programs; and does related work as required. This employee manages a high volume of confidential information for the Office of Affirmative Action Programs. This position requires travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience in a related field is required. Previous experience conducting investigations and working with Title IX and/or Affirmative Action Programs is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Candidate must have the ability to manage multiple tasks under short deadlines and maintain confidentiality in a highly sensitive environment.
