Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is currently seeking an Academic Support Analyst, a critical position in the Office of the Provost. The Academic Support Analyst maintains the Position Management and Faculty Position Rosters, and performs analyses and produces reports as requested by the Provost, Chief Business Officer, Human Resources, Institutional Research, College Deans, College Business Managers, Payroll and Dean or Department Admins.
Responsibilities include the following:Assist Department Chairs, Deans and Business Managers in managing vacant faculty salary to fill vacant faculty positions (permanent and temporary). Coordinate faculty hire process including searches, working with college administration on available salaries, search request form processing, appointment specifications, and startup packages. Prepare, distribute and track faculty contracts in accordance to the Faculty Handbook. Provide timeline and candidate names for Promotion and Tenure (P&T) process, managing workflow.Process applications for faculty phased retirement, sabbaticals, and leave requests for the Office of the Provost. Serve as credentialing database manager. Process all Daytona Beach, Gaetz and ROTC credentialing requests for faculty, adjuncts and staff. Maintain Daytona Beach, Gaetz and ROTC files (official transcripts, resumes and licenses) for faculty, adjuncts and staff. Lead for Faculty Credentialing Application (FCA) and lead for Imaging of faculty records approved by Provost. Work in Campus Solutions data to ensure Daytona Beach Faculty data showing on ERAU faculty pages is accurate and correct. Serve as Administrator for Master Assistantship Contract workflow, Promotion and Tenure workflow, Faculty Payment Voucher workflow and PhD Assistantship workflow. Assist in the curriculum flow management. Record and track proposals, communicate missing approvals.Lead contact for FPV electronic workflow, process and verify the accuracy of adjunct payments, summer wages, faculty stipend payments, and HR workload limits that come through on FPVs and ESFs. Assist students, parents, faculty and staff with academic and non-academic issues in Vice Provost’s absence including providing university-wide communications as needed.Supervision of student assistants.
