Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking an Assistant Director of Housing and Residence Life at the Daytona Beach, Florida campus. The Assistant Director is responsible for the primary oversight, coordination, and implementation of all residential learning including the department’s Residential Curriculum. They will also have direct oversight of the Living Learning Programs including learning and themed communities as well as overseeing a Faculty in Residence. This position will directly supervise two full-time Residence Life Coordinators and indirectly supervise graduate and undergraduate paraprofessional staff. This position will maintain oversight of eRezLife software in conjunction with other staff members. This position assists, as needed, with all department initiatives including but not limited to, semester check in and out, break closing and openings, on campus programming, student conduct advocate and other duties as assigned. This position requires that the candidate live on campus in an assigned apartment and serves in a department on-call rotation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree.
Previous housing/residence life experience at a minimum of a Graduate Assistant level with at least one year of full-time experience.
Required minimum of three years full-time experience.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.
Assistant Director will be required to live on campus in a University provided apartment and serve in a department on-call rotation.
