The Flight Data & Certification Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Airman Certification Representative (ACR) Liason at the Daytona Beach Campus.
The ACR/Liason will meet the requirements set forth in FAR Part 141 by assuming direct responsibility for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of training records to FAA and University standards for up to 2000 flight students annually.

The ACR/Liason will review FAR Part 141 signed course completion received from the FD&C Analysts, to include the Course Completion form, course SP detail, Flight Data & Certification worksheet, Ground School attendance & test grades, FAA written test, medical certificate, superseded pilot certificate, acceptable picture Identification, grade computation, and various additional documentation as applicable such as visa’s, I-20 form, FAA AFS-760 -Letter -03 for verification of foreign pilot license, transfer credit, re-enrollment , and ground training status form in order to issue Airman certificates in accordance with regulation. Review, Maintain, and interact with students to ensure that proper documentation is on file throughout student academic career.

The ACR/Liason will:
Perform ACR duties to include: issue pilot certificates and ratings to graduates of pilot schools that hold examining authority under part 141. Review FAR Part 141 signed course completion received from the FD&C Analysts, to include the Course Completion form, course SP detail, Flight Data & Certification worksheet, Ground School attendance & test grades, FAA written test, medical certificate, superseded pilot certificate, acceptable picture Identification, grade computation, and various additional documentation as applicable such as visa’s, I-20 form, FAA AFS-760 -Letter -03 for verification of foreign pilot license, transfer credit, re-enrollment , and ground training status form in order to issue Airman certificates in accordance with regulation. Scheduling and meeting with qualified students for the review of signed course completion materials in order to issue Airman Certificates.

Review documents on file for all existing and incoming flight students. Identify those students, which do not have all the required documentation on file per FAA and TSA requirements. Follow up with Students, TMs, IPs, and parents if necessary to ensure proper documentation is on file in a timely manner so that training schedules are not delayed. Work with students to help them obtain document corrections so that all of their documents have matching data such as full legal names, dates of birth, etc. in accordance with FAA and TSA requirements.  

Perform other tasks within flight data related to Survey maintenance, Certificate generation, FAA foreign verifications, Foreign pilot certificate conversions, Medical Corrections, and Student Pilot certificate Issuances.Assisting students as needed
Assisting within Flight Data & Certification as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
