JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Temporary position to assist in logistics, project tracking, manuscript formatting, and general editing issues of large China-related book project that involves 50 authors at universities around the globe.
- Create and maintain project management system
- Track essay versions submitted by authors
- Format manuscript according to press guidelines
- Standardize language in the various chapters
- Complete book-related tasks as requested by projects' 3 editors
- Communicate on behalf of editors with authors and keep project on track
- Organize and maintain shared drive, ensuring most up-to-date versions posted
