$15.70 per hour or more depending on education and experience
This position is the primary administrative and fiscal coordinator for the Football, Men's Basketball and Women's Soccer programs. Responsibilities include providing support for team travel, coaches' travel, recruiting, National Letters of Intent, Athletic scholarships, NCAA and Big Sky Conference compliance and other program needs. This provides support for other programs and the Athletic department as necessary and may require travel to away contests.
Bachelors degree or 3 years of relevant experience providing administrative and fiscal support.
Experience with office support software including email, word processing and financial software.
Experience understanding, interpreting, applying and explaining complex policies and regulations.
Experience coordinating and supporting activities requiring complex arrangements.
Experience in an intercollegiate athletic department.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel software systems.
Experience with shared file storage systems.
Experience with Chrome River, VandalWeb, Banner, NCAA Eligibility Center, and NCAA Compliance Assistant.
Knowledge of NCAA Bylaws, Big Sky Conference rules and of University of Idaho policies and procedures.
Good public relations and organizational skills.
Ability to use good judgement and maintain confidentiality.
