The Roadrunner Hub serves as Butte College's Basic Needs Resource Center (BNRC). This department oversees student referrals for basic needs, conducts a basic needs assessment to identify what services to connect students to, and operates a food pantry.
The Administrative Secretary, Grants position in the Roadrunner Hub provides high-level clerical and programmatic support for the BNRC. This position will be responsible for budget expenditures, transfers, and account balances as well as front office clerical support. This includes scheduling appointments and meetings, answering student questions in a friendly and compassionate manner, articulating the programs and services of the Roadrunner Hub, and following up with students as needed. This position will work closely with the Basic Needs Coordinator to complete program and fiscal reporting on various categorical and grant funds, like the CalFresh Outreach grant.
Successful candidates will be student-centered, exercise a high level of confidentiality, responsibility, and possess strong organizational and communication skills to ensure the smooth operation of a fast-paced diverse team.

The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Over the summer the schedule changes to Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Friday off.
