JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
This is temporary part-time summer work. Three positions are available to assemble ventilators and pack them to be shipped to African universities. All necessary training will be provided. These ventilators will be used for training purposes as part of an international STEM and COVID-19 response program.
Role and Responsibilities
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Inventory ventilator kit parts to ensure they are complete
- Assemble ventilators including electrical and mechanical components
- Test functionality of ventilators
- Package units up to be shipped overseas
- Process any required paperwork
Must be at least 16 years of age; able to lift 30 lb. assembled ventilators; able to read and follow directions; pay close attention to detail and work independently as needed.
Should be comfortable doing basic assembly tasks with typical hand tools. Experience with electronics and wiring a plus but not required. Organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team are helpful.
