The
SDM Compliance Department is seeking an
Assistant Compliance Officer that will support departmental operations to maintain Article 28 Healthcare Facility compliance with our New York State regulatory agencies by assisting in the development of departmental policies and procedures.
The primary responsibilities will be:
- Managing the operational aspects of the compliance process
- Risk analyses
- Development of corrective action plans
- Reporting
- Quality Assurance
- Credentialing
- Audit documents
- Tracking mandatory training

Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree with 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience with relevant healthcare compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Compliance certifications from HCCA (the Health Care Compliance Association)
- Familiarity with credentialing documents
- Knowledge of DOH requirements
