Mail Services at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) is pleased to announce an opening for a Mail Services & Receiving Manager. The Mail Services & Receiving Manager is responsible for ensuring that RISD Mail Services operates in an efficient manner by incorporating best practices. Provides strategic vision as well as day to day operational oversight. Manages all aspects of the incoming, outgoing, and intercampus mail, package, and freight processing for the college. Serves as a primary contact for freight arriving on campus, ensuring freight deliveries are secure and arrangements are made for arrival at desired location(s). Identifies, recommends, implements, and ensures that policies and procedures associated with operations and staff management are consistently used. Actively engages in strategic planning to assure that emerging trends are reflected in services provided. Regularly communicates with customers regarding services and acquire feedback to gauge success and challenges. Serves as the designated "super" user for the SCLogic and Neopost computer systems used in the mail area.
