RISD’s Facilities department seeks to hire a Facilities Operations Specialist for a one-year term. The Facilities Operations Specialist will serve to provide assistance and support in the following areas on a rotating basis: Custodial and Grounds; Maintenance; Mechanical; Plumbing and Electrical; Facilities Operations; Environmental Health and Safety; and Project Management.
The Facilities Operations Specialist is directly responsible for ensuring the successful execution/implementation of smaller scale facilities-related projects and for milestone assignments of larger scale facilities-related projects as delegated by the Facilities Management/Supervisory staff. Provide direction and guidance to appropriate staff members and supervise daily operational tasks related to the RISD Facilities portfolio.
This is a 35 hour per week position with excellent benefits.
