Coordinator - Executive Programs
: Staff - Full-Time
UVU Executive Education is seeking a dynamic, driven leader to run executive programs for c-suite and international business and government professionals. The coordinator will be responsible for high revenue growth and exceptional execution of leadership workshops, courses and custom programs.
Assists in strategic planning and evaluation and assessment of executive education programming. Supports departmental outreach efforts, attending events, convening meetings and networking with businesses and regional organizations to build professional relationships and research executive program needs.
In collaboration with other departments, assists director with premium high revenue programming and projects for domestic and international business clients. Manages instructor recruitment, retention and assignments for programs. Coordinates with the event producer, department staff, and other departments on logistics for premium educational experiences. Assists with contract management for grants, contracts and custom programs, providing metrics, reports, and fulfillment of terms. Tracks course development and business relationships in Salesforce and other department technology tools.
Collaborates on marketing and sales of programming to achieve growth and success of the programs.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelors degree and 3-5 years experience related to the summary of duties or a combination of education and work totaling 5 years.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Knowledge of continuing education, professional development, certification, and community education programs, policies, and procedures. Experience in marketing education programs particularly to industry
-Knowledge of general business practices, management, ownership,
-Knowledge in office productivity software, including Microsoft office and Salesforce
-Knowledge in program development and management
-Knowledge of customer service practices
-Knowledge and ability in project management, budgeting and program evaluation
-Creative, problem solving, decision making, and entrepreneurial skills
-Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills
-Excellent organizational skills
-Professional demeanor and communications
-Ability to foster professional and working relationships with students, teachers, community leaders, and office support staff as well as groups with competing interests.
-Ability and experience in managing program budgets.
-Ability to deal effectively with the public, instructors, and staff and to project a positive image for the University
-Ability to communicate program objectives to various groups and stakeholders
-Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
-Ability to work collaboratively and lead others
-Ability to be self-directed and proactive when accomplishing assignments
-Ability to manage sensitive information in a discrete and confidential manner
Experience working in higher education a plus
Consistently sitting as with an office environment. Use of fine-hand manipulation associated with the use of a computer. Some light lifting and bending may be required.
