Responsible for the management and coordination of transcript requests and billing of transcripts. Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and reporting on all project registration and completion records. To support the overall departmental objectives of providing timely and precise college/record information to students, faculty, and staff.

  • Responsible for the management of all transcript requests, including trouble shooting any issues with older transcripts and data clean-up. Responsible for managing and recording all aspects of project registration (MQP and IQP), including working one-on-one with faculty and students to navigate through the process of registration and project submission. To support the overall departmental objective of providing timely and accurate information to students, faculty and staff. Work with members of the WPI community to identify and implement process improvements to the project system.
  • Responsible for undergraduate project records management requiring in-depth knowledge and comprehension of the WPI computer system and the student information system and related WPI policy and practices.
  • Responsible for student academic records management and the coordination of requests for transcript and academic record information. Manage all apostille/certification requests.
  • Accurately maintains all student records in electronic and hard copy filing system. Posts, authenticates and processes data on past and current student information by working with the Associate Registrars. Prepares correspondence, reports and statistics relating to student academic records. Types and files a variety of documents, forms, letters and transcript abstracts.
  • Serves as source of information for both counter and phone. Answers routine questions by students and faculty regarding office policies and procedures. Screens incoming questions/problems and refers to appropriate individual if needed.
  • Monitor registrar email communications, using excellent written communication skills to respond to requests and queries.
  • Performs and assists with a variety of office tasks such as registration, course changes, graduation, orientation and other such events as requested. Recommends changes in procedures.
  • Assists with duties of other Enrollment Services positions as requested for vacation, illness, summer, peak periods, etc. Provides input on procedural enhancements and recommends changes if needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Assist with commencement related activities as assigned.
  • Work with the Assistant Registrar to prepare and disseminate withdrawal paperwork and maintain student records as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous computer experience with on-line records management system required.
  • Experience with Banner SCT software preferred.
  • Previous experience within academic records environment or equivalent experience required.
  • Detail-oriented/self-starter with ability to work well under pressure and adapt to change within the system.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and confidentiality required.
  • Some overtime may be required.
