JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
WPI is seeking to hire an Athletic Trainer to assist in all phases of treatment for varsity athletics and serve in the Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics.

This is a 10-month position with a salary range up to $50k.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Athletic Trainer in diagnosis and treatment of athletic injuries, prevention, recognition, evaluation, care and rehabilitation of athletic injuries/illnesses.
  • Provide coverage for athletic contests, practice sessions and Athletic Training room as assigned.
  • Maintenance of accurate reports and records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Requirements:

  • Master's Degree and NATA Certification required minimum of 1-2 years experience (not necessarily college level) preferred.
  • Massachusetts State licensure.
  • First Aid and CPR certified.
  • Valid driver's license.
