The University at Buffalo (UB) Office of Curriculum, Assessment and Teaching Transformation (CATT) seeks to hire a Temporary Learning Management Assistant for a period not to exceed one (1) year. The Learning Management Assistant will provide direct support to instructors and instructional support staff as they are trained to deliver courses via the new learning management system. The Learning Management Assistant develops and delivers training related to key functionality within the new system, and provides direct support for course content migration and setup within the new system.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities
- Development and delivery of training workshops in use of the new learning management system.
- Direct user support related to the use of the new learning management system.
- Direct content migration and course building support in the new system.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree and familiarity with user support and learning management systems with competencies in the following areas:
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong computer skills essential. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field with one (1) year of professional experience are preferred.
