The Executive Assistant directly supports the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and assists with day-to-day operations for all offices and work streams in the Provost’s portfolio; manages information flow and expedites work through the appropriate channels; assumes responsibility in all aspects of the operations under the direction of the Provost; and does related work as required. The Executive Assistant works collaboratively with other staff and vendors to support initiatives, programs and events organized for and/or sponsored by the division. This position requires a flexible schedule including occasional evening and weekend hours and may require travel.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience supporting senior level executives in a fast-paced environment is required. Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute indicated experience on a year-for-year basis. Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of personnel and stakeholders. Excellent customer service skills and written and oral communication skills are essential.
