The Department of Information Science provides and supports resources, research, and service for education and leadership to the information science community and prepares information professionals of the highest quality to serve dynamic roles in the state, the nation, and the world.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Processes student admissions for the masters programs in the department, based on COI admissions parameters.
Interacts with prospective and new students.
Manages student data and generates data reports on admissions, etc. as requested.
Stays current on UNT and COI policies and procedures regarding admissions.
Represents COI on campus and off-campus committees and task groups concerned with admissions.
Additional Posting Details
Associate’s Degree and two years of office administration experience; or any equivalent
combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
