Complete, verify, and document phone lines and locations for every phone in every building on all the university campuses. Organize and update this information in Microsoft Excel building workbooks for distribution to the individual departmental representatives in preparation of the set replacement deployment. Assist the subject matter expert with phone and user updates based on completed building workbook. Assemble replacement devices, perform custom configurations for each device. Re-package devices, include trifold instructions, and label boxes for deployment.
Arrange onsite visits with each university department to deploy replacement devices. Over 5,200 sets per desk visits, per the replacement schedule, will be required. Verify phone functionality, the set is registered with CUCM, has correct extension and can place a call. Verify PC network connectivity. Provide excellent customer service and answer questions/demonstrate basic phone functionality. Escalate advanced functionality questions to the project manager when necessary. Remove old devices for proper disposal.
Create reporting functionality and analyze data for proper project inventory planning, materials handling, project inventory turnover, stocking decisions, and control functions of distribution of replacement devices at all project locations.
