Campus Living is seeking two Trades Generalists to perform journey level work in at least one trade and skilled level work in a combination of trades. These positions may oversee the work of other maintenance staff and must have the ability to train others and provide informational and constructive feedback. Knowledge and experience are expected in the areas of:
- Allied trades
To be successful in this position, you will need to have the working knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used in a variety of trades, as well as the ability to interpret diagrams and blueprints. Working knowledge of applicable building code standards and plumbing and electrical code regulations are required. Candidates will be expected to explain and demonstrate their skills and competency for these positions. To be a successful candidate, you must be able to understand and follow directions/instructions, have the ability to plan/layout work, diagnose problems, communicate and work well with others, and provide excellent customer service. Since the activities of other employees depend upon the availability of the employees in these positions, reliable attendance is a factor that will be considered when filling these vacancies.
