Overview
The Office of Educational Affairs (OEA) is primarily responsible for the medical school academic programs, curriculum design and development, system-wide evaluation, faculty development, interaction with the offices of Student Affairs, Registrar, and Professional Degree Program, promotion of academic excellence through grant participation for innovative programs, scheduling classroom facilities in MedEd, BRPH, Posner and Jaharis building, as well as the Clinical Skills Center. The OEA oversees and coordinates the School’s preparation for accreditation review by the LCME
What You'll Do
The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the overall administrative functions of the LearningSpace management system; serves as the first point of contact for inquiries about the Clinical Skills and Simulation Center (CSSC) and the LearningSpace (LS) management system; provides information to faculty, students, staff and outside constituents regarding programs and events at the CSSC. The administrative coordinator will support the OSCE Manager to maintain and update information regarding events using LS for all courses, programs and events. This includes support and training of faculty and staff in the use of LS and working with faculty and staff to plan and prepare for CSSC events. The administrative coordinator will work closely with the Program Director, other CSSC staff, and faculty and students to develop and administer cases, events, schedules, assessments and evaluations, including creating and maintaining cases and checklists for CSSC activities. The administrative coordinator is responsible for monitoring supplies, set-ups and room configurations for events using the CSSC. Working with the Program Director, the administrative coordinator is responsible for coordinating standardized patient exercises including pre-clinical OSCEs, clerkship OSCEs, and practice sessions during various courses. The administrative coordinator will work with the Medical Simulation Specialist and Director of Simulation Education to help deliver the simulation aspects of themedical school curriculum. The administrative coordinator will serve as additional support to the Program Director for the educational programs of CAP, Physical Diagnosis and MIDPR.

Basic Requirements:
- High school and five years experience, demonstrated technical competence and flexibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher education, healthcare or curriculum delivery experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office, familiarity with web applications and comfortable learning new software.
- Strong sense of confidentiality. Ability to maintain composure, think clearly and alleviate stress of students in challenging situations.
Requires flexibility of work hours, including early arrival (e.g. 7:30 a.m.) and late departure (after 6:00 p.m.) on occasion.
Pay Range
Minimum $26.40, Midpoint $31.40, Maximum $36.40
Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
