Sponsored Projects Services (SPS) seeks a Payroll Analyst II who would be apart of a business unit within the Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development which manages and supports the research infrastructure, provides stewardship of external funding and is dedicated to providing the best support possible for university researchers.
The role of the Payroll Analyst II is to review and analyze Research Foundation (RF) payroll activity ensuring the expenditures charged to sponsored project accounts are fully compliant with University, Research Foundation, sponsor policies and any project specific requirements.
The duties of the Payroll Analyst fall into the following categories:
Review payroll documents that have been processed in Research Foundation (RF) Payroll Department, as an after the fact audit
Ensure charges are allowable and charged appropriately to sponsored project accounts
Identify, pursue and process corrective action when necessary.
The Payroll Analyst II is responsible for payroll in an assigned departmental portfolio, and serves ad the primary point of contact for payroll issues for those departments. As the point of contact, the Payroll Analyst II works collaboratively with the departmental assigned SPS Award Analyst regarding compliance, policies and procedures.
