The Department of Pharmacy Practice is seeking a Research Operations Coordinator to manage the operations of the research lab of Dr. Brian Tsuji. Dr. Tsuji’s laboratory is focused on Infectious Diseases Therapeutics and one of the leading centers in the US. The Research Operations Coordinator would be a key member of our team of interdisciplinary scientists and thrive in a highly collaborative, fun, and fast paced environment. This individual will provide administrative, facilities and operational support for the lab.

Your job responsibilities include:
  • Manage ordering and expenditure activities in the lab including but not limited to Pcard management, procurement, maintaining laboratory stock and large equipment ordering and maintenance.
  • Managing facilities including but not limited to placing, facilitating, and following execution of work orders and liaising with FMPO’s, facilities, and planning at SPPS and Jacobs School of Medicine to create work orders for building maintenance, general housekeeping, and floor maintenance.
  • Providing post-award management for laboratory grants and contracts to ensure detailed spending, accounting and execution on awards.
