Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Worldwide announces an exciting new position in the Department of Financial Aid. The State Grants and Scholarships Coordinator provides direction and inclusive management assistance of all scholarship programs. This position will support the Assistant Director with the administration of all federal, state, institutional, and external scholarships, grants and any other financial aid programs, to include student eligibility, disbursement reporting, and serving as liaison to university offices.
Responsibilities of this position include managing the student scholarship award processes, preparing reports, collaborating and communicating with appropriate departmental, collegiate, and university offices, and serving student scholarship needs. Additionally, this role has the opportunity to counsel the Worldwide Online and Campus students regarding financial aid eligibility, assistance programs available, and their rights and responsibilities associated with those programs. This position will also apply student aid awarding policies and procedures to determine what levels of financial assistance to offer students. The ideal candidate will work in a professional and congenial manner within the Financial Aid Office, within the university and in representing Embry-Riddle externally.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Analytical skills with an in depth knowledge of information systems and technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet end-user applications.
Experience in Higher Education Financial Aid
Previous knowledge and working experience with grants and scholarships
