RISD is seeking a Faculty Recruitment and Development Coordinator to join its Provost Office.
Under limited direction, The Faculty Recruitment & Development Coordinator provides a wide variety of administrative and logistical support for essential and key recurring functions for faculty development programs and Academic Affairs offices. Evaluates, recommends, and revises, as approved, processes and recruitment avenues to support mission and recruitment of a diverse faculty. With an in-depth understanding of RISD processes, projects cycles, and systems, independently coordinates logistics for faculty searches, communications, and scheduling of meetings and interviews. Serves as an expert user (power -user) of RISD electronic application system. Maintains and update faculty information through the electronic applicant system and train end users on the same. Responsible for maintaining an awareness of RISD’s calendar of events and cyclical planning needs in order to schedule faculty and other committee meetings, helps ensure activities and projects stay on point, and maintains records as appropriate. Organizes and maintains document files as needed and prepares materials for college archives as appropriate. Provides administrative support for faculty development programming and for academic advising initiatives. Provides administrative support for the Faculty Steering Committee.
