Researchers in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, are seeking a highly motivated Project Aide to work in laboratories of Drs. Samir Haj-Dahmane and Roh-Yu Shen helping to study ways to fight addictions.
Specific duties of the Project Aide include working with rodents, assistance with general laboratory organization, maintenance and cleaning to keep a safe working research environment. The candidate may also help with making solutions and other routine research related activities as deemed necessary. The candidate should have excellent communications skills while working under the direction of senior research personnel.
Previous knowledge of specific methods or routines obtained by on-the-job training/education, preferred. Interest/experience in small rodent behavioral tasks.
