POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
As the Director of Career Services at Butte College, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals in providing comprehensive career development support to students and alumni. You will play a key role in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance career readiness and success, including innovative programming, partnerships with employers, and utilization of cutting-edge technologies.
In this position, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, employers, and community partners. You will also have the opportunity to oversee the design and delivery of career development resources, including individualized advising, workshops, job fairs, and online tools. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students and the broader community, as you help to prepare the next generation of professionals for success in a rapidly changing job market.
The current work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Over the summer the schedule changes to Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Friday off.
