This Senior Research Scientist will require an in-depth knowledge of multimedia forensics especially in security and privacy direction regarding Artificial Intelligence based image/video synthesis and computer vision, and can involve organizing and implementing complex research plans, the development of methods of research, testing and data collection, analysis and evaluation, and writing reports containing descriptive, analytical and evaluative content. The duties will require the exercise of independent discretion and judgment in carrying out research activities within the predetermined research scope and methodology, including
- Planning and conducting experiments relating to assigned research projects.
- Collecting, preparing, and analyzing research data, including literature review
- Utilizing specialized skills in related field to analyze data.
- Participating in manuscript writing for publication in high-prestige academic conference or journals.
- Assisting the PI with ordering and maintaining of supplies and equipment.

A doctoral degree in Computer Science with relevant experience and a strong publication record in Digital Media Forensics. Priority will be given to candidate who has extensive experience in generating and detecting AI-synthesized impersonating images and videos, and in adversarial machine learning algorithms.
