The Department of Family Medicine at the University at Buffalo is seeking an individual to assist in the successful development and implementation of the newly awarded Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP) via community collaboration and program support services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain effective relationships and communications with all local partnering organizations and consortium members.
  • Attend meetings with community partners as requested and other events as an active representative of the New York State System.
  • Support community recruitment efforts and seek opportunities for collaboration.
  • Assist with the development of programmatic resources, informational materials, and other documents related to grant activities.
  • Support the coordination of programmatic activities including but not limited to presentations, community events, continuing education opportunities, etc. related to the opioid epidemic in rural communities.
  • Assist staff with the preparation of succinct reports detailing project/program accomplishments.
  • Attend meetings/conferences, participate on statewide committees/work groups and participate in conference calls as necessary to meet job responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties and/or tasks as assigned to ensure the efficient and timely completion of required grant activities.
